"Lord Dowding" at Holyhead

Locomotive Services (TOC) Limited, the new train operating arm of the Crewe-based operation set up by Jeremy Hosking has now settled down into its first season of railtours all of which, thanks to very competitive fares and great presentation and marketing, have sold out. On Saturday 2nd June 2018 the destination was Holyhead from which we see Mr Hosking's Rebuilt Bulleid Light Pacific departing back to Crewe and then crossing the remains of the well-known causeway that links Holyhead to Anglesey. For those not so familiar with this engine, which appears to be "Battle of Britain" class no 34052 "Lord Dowding" it is in fact "West Country" class no 34046 "Braunton" which has been masquerading as a member of a different class for quite some time!
