Flying Scotsman Returns To Steam

Railway icon Flying Scotsman made its triumphant return to the tracks last week after a £4.2 million restoration and a 10-year hiatus. The world’s most famous engine took to the East Lancashire Railway for its first public test run on January 8 as steam enthusiasts and media gathered to welcome it back to steam. The event kicked off a two-year program that will see Scotsman make appearances around the country, starting with its inaugural run from London Kings Cross to York next month. Unseen Steam was there to capture all the action and speak to some of the key people that made this dream a reality.
