The London Museum of Water & Steam houses a remarkable assemblage of artefacts from our Victorian industrial heyday. The museum’s centrepiece is a collection of stationary water pumping steam engines dating from 1820 to 1910. Operations manager Ed Fagan is responsible for everything in the museum, in his words, “from the toilets to the roofs”. Unseen Steam caught up with him to find out what it takes to keep things going full steam ahead.
