The Dart Valley Railway opened to the public in 1969 so a massive 9 day event was held to celebrate the South Devon Railway's Golden Jubilee in the early summer of 2019. The company had to change its name because the holding company at the time was also the owner of what is today known as the Dartmouth Steam Railway and didn't want confusion with the original Dart Valley Railway when it was sold to an enthusiasts organisation. Here we see some of the trains, all with different Pannier Tanks, alongside the River Dart below Dartington Hall.
