The railtour will be part of an official reopening after a 500,000 tonne landslip closed a section of the line at Armathwaite, North of Appleby, over a year ago and will  tie-in with the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway's Scotsman event.

No. 60103 will leave Oxenhope station on the K&WVR line to travel towards the Settle to Carlisle line. Once the locomotive has left the Worth Valley branch line it will join the mainline and passengers will travel the Settle-Carlisle line, which passes 20 viaducts, 14 tunnels and through restored Midland stations along the 72 mile track.

Tickets for the Oxenhope to Carlisle tour are available through the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway website.
